Chimney Stacks on the Kennedy Town Incineration Plant

For obvious envirnomental reasons, these relatively short (61m high) stacks, built so close to dwellings and emitting discharges at low altitudes, have been an issue amongst the local residents for decades.

The plant has fallen to disuse (1993) and finally demolished in 2008.
