....three brand new Routemasters in the compound at Park Royal, North West London.........
.....to take the picture almost 50 years ago, I positioned myself quite high up and I look to be level with the destination boards on the RM's.......
........There was a wire fence that I didn't want in the picture so I might have climbed up onto the roof of an adjacent single storey shed.....
....I definitely remember that over my shoulder as I shot the picture was the Grand Union Canal (see Map) and the Road leading to the site was Abbey Road, London NW10............
......I checked it out on Google Street view and the site of Park Royal Vehicles Ltd is now DHL Freight Forwarders....
.......I copied this picture from an old 120 negative.....very hard to do on an epson scanner that only reads 35mm...and slides/transparencies at that.....watch this space....I have more subsidiary scans to upload re: this picture..............
