Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Wings of Hope (WOH) has volunteers across the globe devoted to “fostering selfsufficiency and accomplishment” among the world’s poor. This goal is achieved through their domestic operations, air bases abroad and partnerships with humanitarian organizations worldwide. WOH strives to find innovative and effective strategies to combat poverty wherever it exists.

MACIEJ DAKOWICZ’S BIO | Born in Bialystok, Poland, Maciej Dakowicz is a software engineer. He is currently living in Cardiff, Wales, working as a researcher and studying for his Ph.D at the University of Glamorgan, but his real passion is photography. Dakowicz has traveled throughout Asia and elsewhere as an amateur photographer. His photo galleries appear as the “Most Popular of All Time” on pbase.com because of his expressive humanistic style. Dakowicz has been interested in photography for only three short years, yet his images show the promise of a brilliant photographer.
