One of the many striking examples of immediate post-WW1 German graphic design to be found in "Das Plakat", this from the May 1919 issue. It features a very abstract Senta Söneland (1882 - 1934), a German stage and film actor who was appearing in cabaret in Berlin at the Lichtprunksaale. The poster is by Steiner, printed and reproduced at Arnold Weylandt and Dinse & Eckert, Berlin, S.O.16. It is one of many designed by artist Jo Steiners and dated from 1912.
