The rear cover of the May 1957 CIÉ menu card and tariff is taken up with a splendid colour advert for the world famous Dublin stout brewed by Guinness.
I'm sure that this is taken from one of the Guinness annuals, the illustrated booklets commissioned on an annual basis for many years and that were initially sent out to doctors to remind them of the 'medicinal benefits' of the brew! It looks like the work of Anthony Groves-Raines and first appears in a page of the 1952 "Guinness Sportsfolio".
