Sunny Eastbourne and an Eat-Lancs bodied Leyland Panther glides by. Worthy of note is the old green Post Office Telephones Morris Minor van which had been converted for domestic use, a popular choice with students and other cash strapped budget motorists back in the Sixties when I used to hitch-hike. The biggest snag was they were always being pulled up by Plod in Panda's, not hoping to sniff drugs in those days but instead hoping they might not have tax, insurance and of course a decent set of tyres.
