Family in Orchard

Child, dog and woman in an orchard. Turn of 20th century? The dog is a pit bull-type/bully breed; pit bulls were once referred to as nanny-dogs because they were so good with children and were one of the most popular family dogs.

 

I bought this photo at an antique store in Shipshewana, Indiana in October 2008.
