TRENDMASTERS Godzilla Wars Biollante Paint Master Prototype Comparison
On the right side is my TRENDMASTERS Godzilla Wars 6" Biollante Paint Master Sample Prototype, which is hand painted. The difference with this piece to the retail version is, the inside of the tentacled mouths have been painted pink, and it also has the little nubs on the back and base of the tentacles painted like little toe nails. The left side image is taken from the 1996 TRENDMASTERS Official Dealer Catalog, as a comparison. Seems whoever painted my prototype, left out painting just one of the orange parts in the stomach there. You'll see which one, directly underneath the main monster face, just to the right. This particular prototype came in a plastic bag from the TRENDMASTERS Hong Kong office, showing the Chinese writing on the stickers of the bag it came in. I believe these are little engineering notes.
Not sure why the released versions didn't come with the painted mouths on the tentacle mouths, as they appear much better that way.
