Sarracenia rubra (Sweet pitcherplant)

Large colonies of this and other species used to exist here, but I never got to see them. Between a beaver dam, a tornado, and probably poaching the populations have suffered badly. Shealey's Pond Heritage Preserve, Lexington County, South Carolina.
