Pachysandra procumbens (Allegheny-spurge)

My dog Scout and I took a spring wildflower walk today. We explored Peach Orchard Branch in the Jocassee Gorges Wildlife Management Area, just east of the Eastatoe River in Pickens County South Carolina. The first two plants of Pachysandra we ran into were in flower. After that we found vast fields of thousands of them, but no more in flower after the first two.
