I learned something today and that doesn't happen every day. An Oldsquaw. A what... yeh, I had no clue that this beautiful duck is also called an Oldsquaw. I was watching and photographing this male Long-tailed Duck (Clangula hyemalis) or Oldsquaw grooming himself for at least 10-15 minutes, and this within 4-5 meters. A wonderful event.
