Chicken in the kitchen 30/365

Speckles. She was fine on Sunday morning but I found her looking downcast late Sunday afternoon. She was unable to walk. Her left leg looks paralysed and her right leg is weak. I could see no obvious evidence of injury.

 

I brought her in for warmth and security. She seemed extremely thirsty, but was not interested in food. I have since read of cases where chickens suddenly develop weakness of legs but recover spontaneously, so I hope she may be better soon. She is certainly looking much perkier and eating and drinking.
