Alissa & The Clouds
A great afternoon/evening walk with Alissa, my 2 sons & 2 of their friends.
The highlights:
Smuggling an extra child along for the trip.
Alissa made me a CD, which we listened to while driving and...
Having a good chat.
Losing 3 of 4 boys in the mix of trails.
Reuniting.
Then seeing them having so much fun exploring the low tide rocks.
Lying down and watching clouds.
Walking back through the trees in the dark, by one headlamp.
Spontaneous singing of "Rudolph the red nose reindeer". By the boys!
and of course,
A stop at Pastemeli in Caulfield for pizza.
Earlier in the afternoon I was at the mall with my oldest son, looking at $200 Nike runners. Which event did I more enjoy - hmm? ;)
