Poppy Crosses
Planted in the grassy area at the Cenotaph were two sets of Poppy Crosses. I can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like trying to get out via Dunkirk.
It was also very sad to see numerous colour pictures of people from my own generation killed in the various conflicts in the Middle East. Does make me wonder what progress the human race has really made in the last 60 years.
