1954: Película Kodak Tri X (recargable)
Se presenta la película Kodak Tri-X, una película en blanco y negro de gran velocidad.
Kodak introdujo la película negativa de alta velocidad Kodak Tri-X Panchromatic para cine en blanco y negro, película en rollo de Tri-X y Royal Pan en hojas. Todas eran considerablemente más rápidas que las películas anteriores. El aumento de velocidad y grano grueso de estas películas en blanco y negro, hizo posible tomar fotografías bajo condiciones de iluminación difíciles. En 1960 se introdujo otra película Tri-X con cualidades mejoradas.

Kodak introduced high speed Kodak Tri-X Panchromatic negative film for motion pictures, Tri-X Roll Film, and Royal Pan Sheet Film. All were considerably faster tan previous films. The increased speed and low grainines of these black and white films made it possible to take pictures under difficult lighting conditions. Another Tri-X film with further improved qualities was introduced in 1960. This sample, film reloaded.
