Jeff Loomis says: The background looks like a stream or pond which does a nice job of reflecting the sky and foliage. Shooting down on someone is tricky, but it works well here. The buds or blossoms on the left match her sweater, while the reflected sky on the right matches her eyes. The shallow DoF really draws attention to her face and minimized distractions.
