Laboratorium Solaris: miniature
"One shot" full-disk @08:46 MSK 10.03.2016.
So many little proms along eastern and western parts of the limb and cool "tuft" on the North. So not enough time :(
Along with stacking, deconvolution, wavelet sharpening and high-pass filtering I have added another step - the copy of disk face image was inverted and subjected to Gaussian blur with 13-15 pixels radius, and then the result was applied over the actual image with opacity set to 50%. The layers* were merged and the result was subjected for yet another contrast enchancement.
This procedure, described in Sean Walker's article in S&T May 2007 helps to mitigate PST-specific issue of "hot-spot".
*Photoshop slang :)
