The Singing Tower
Made of pink marble and coquina, the 205-foot tall neo-Gothic and Art Deco Singing Tower houses the 60-bell carillon. The bells do not swing, instead the bell is rung by a clapper from the inside. The largest bell, called the Bourdon, is 22,400 pounds (just under 12 tons) with a diameter of 102 inches. The smallest weighs 16 pounds. The total weight of the bells is 62 tons.
