Pair of Cranes Moving Old Track of Tokyo Monorail 1

Photos of Tokyo-Monorail-track-switching-work on April 10th continue.

There were four cranes in this western switching site. They worked as two pairs. This photo shows a pair of them.

The pair of cranes is now hoisting an old concrete track. They will put the track onto temporary space. However, there is a small problem: the space is located behind them. So they have to move the track to the other side without collision.

When I saw it the first time, I did not understand what had happened. The pair of crane looked like performing folk dance, and suddenly the track was behind them. I re-constructed the operation in my mind and found that the cranes moved the track through the space between them. I made a figure describing the move. I will upload it as a comment.

I saw the operation several times that day. They performed it so easily that it looked like an elemental operation.
