Kosuge Junction and the Ayase River
Taken on Mito-bashi. “Mito” is a city in Ibaraki Prefecture. It is about 90km northeast from this spot. In Edo Era, Mito-kaido, a road between Edo (old Tokyo) and Mito, had a bridge here.
The first Mito-bashi was built more than 300 years ago. The current bridge was renewed in 2012. So, the parapet looks new.
