Fishing boats returning home, Sundarbans

The mangroves are dotted with small fishing boats, sometimes with a crew like seen here but often just one or two hands on deck. These boats can stay out for days or even weeks at a time in search of a good catch, which speaks to the hardy nature of these fisherman. Clearly there's no room for luxuries, and even the implements like the sail and rudder are handcrafted from wood and easily available plastic sheets. #sundarbans
