Spiderweb quilt top
On December 6 I finished the top and photographed out on the front grass. We still had no snow. Today I am looking for something to hang over the sliding glass door because tonight it may get to minus 13 degrees. It is the coldest it had been in 4 years. We taped around the front door with duct tape the wind was blowing right through the door frame. I hung a wool blanket over the front door and what a difference it makes. The sun is shining now but it is deathly cold outside. Seriously the type of cold if your car stalled you would die.
I remember once as a teenager going to northern Minnesota skiing and I had suitcases on the hood of the car on ski racks. When we got to our destination we discovered the material the suitcases were made out of had cracked into hundreds of pieces. They were still holding the clothes in but had cracks all over the place.
