Little Known Bat Squirrel - Just Kidding It's a Very Acrobatic Regular Squirrel - Please help me give her a name!
I could not wait to get home and post this shot for my Flickr Friends!!! This squirrel, who I will name based on suggestions from my friends and contacts here on Flickr, has been entertaining me and the folks I work with for days with her antics, outside our office window. This shot is through that tinted window, so I adjusted the image a little bit and sharpened it to compensate. I usually grab my Sony, but this time I grabbed the Canon 40D, and it did a much better job of adjusting, so I really didn’t do much. Oh, obviously cropped to emphasis her Crepe Myrtle Trapeze act as well.
She was so funny and truly amazing! She was holding on to a thin and springy Crepe Myrtle Branch that arched down under her weight. She would then reach out like the best picker, and bring herself to the good stuff. She was like a machine, and would sometimes curl back up and adjust and then hang back down to eat more of the seed pods. She absolutely reminded me of a trapeze artist or a monkey with her skill and strength.

Location: I live on the property of Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. in Brandon, FL, my ancestors were here long before, but we get along really well and sometimes the humans accidentally drop some of their food in the picnic area! =o)
Gender: Female
Relationship Status: Single and looking ;o)
Occupation: Survival!!! Oh, and I’m also a part time Model for the blonde lady with the big black eye(Kathleen)!
Likes: Trees, Nuts, Seeds, Climbing, Jumping, Hanging Upside Down, Doing curls while hanging upside down, entertaining the humans that I can kind of see when they get close to the windows…they’re suckers for my antics, hee-hee-hee! So easily entertained!
Dislikes: Losing my grip on a branch (especially humiliating when the humans are watching), Male Squirrels who don’t like to cuddle, Cars and Hawks! I really don’t like Hawks!
Please name me something cool, so Kathleen can share my new moniker with her work family!
