Accomplishment in arts and science : Won awards and prizes in various oratorical contests and essay competitions including Maulana Abussabah Trophy, Kutty Krishna Marar Trophy, V.K. Krishna Menon Trophy, Father Theodosius Trophy, Gandhi Peace Foundation Awards and University Arts Festival Prizes.
Publications : Articles on philosophy, cul ture, religion, history and politics in periodicals, booklets on various subjects, translation of a book on the Prophet(s) translation of two books on Allama Iqbal, a book on comparing Kant and Iqbal and two books on (i) Sikh Religion and (ii) the History of the Middle-East; was the
sub-editor of Chandrika Daily and MES Journal.
Special interest : (i) Promotion of communal harmony, national integration and universal humanism, (ii) dialogue between religions, Sufi and Bhakti movement and (iii) the thoughts of Hazrat Mujaddid Alf-e-Thani, Allama Iqbal and Mahatma Gandhi.
Favourite pastime and recreation : Reading and teaching (especially Philosophy and History) and writing on them.
