Although not a Jedi, Chewie has picked up a few things after all these years being in their company. With moderate success, one of those things is the Jedi Mind Trick - which he is now using to try and convince his buds they are NOT standing in the Death Star's Communal Toilet, but instead are actually standing at the edge of the Great Pit of Carkoon, and the first one who 'goes' will get grabbed by the Sarlacc.
The hardest part for him is keeping a straight face.
