Prof. Martin Fisher was a noted doctor who became an HIV consultant in Brighton in 1995. Many patients owe their lives to his tireless work. The Martin Fisher Foundation was set up in 2015 to continue his work.
Waterstones bookstore now occupies the former Burton’s tailoring building.
