There are many species of tanagers and one of my favorite is the Golden Hooded Tanager. He is beautiful and makes quite a statement as he flies around the gardens . Costa Rica is definitely blessed with a great deal of beauty not only in the aviary world but the fauna and landscape and flowers. Our next trip is scheduled for the early part of April.
