Glenton AEC meets Glenton AEC

It's not often these days that two such unusual coaches which have belonged to two same operators meet up again, but that was the case here at RBW last week.

Both coaches began life new to high quality London based tour operator Glenton Tours. That company achieved fame in enthusiast circles for their dogged determination to retain centre entrances. Later in life, PYM 106F went with sister 108F to Northwich based classic tour operator 'Grand Edwardian Touring Co'. The latter firm went on to become Regency Road Pullman Touring Co, in who's livery Plaxton Elite bodied 760 Relience EUU 117J is seen here alongside.

By an additional coincidence, PYM 108F is also with us, but a major accident involving several cars between our yard and our storage compound prevented us collecting it to also take it's place in the photo.
