Eagle River Lighthouse, Michigan
Located on Lake Superior on the the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
Built in 1858, but rebuilt in 1884 because of a faulty foundation, and inactive since 1908 when it was sold into private hands. The present owners have extensively restored and then maintained the property. The stone tower is 24 feet tall and is mounted on a one and 1/2 story keeper's house.
