Albatross!
We were extremely lucky that when we went out to see the nests, not only were the baby (but almost full-grown, only a couple of weeks away from flying) albatrosses still there, but two adults had come back for feeding and were circling around. I realize this is not a very impressive-looking shot, but capturing albatross in flight, with a small camera, from inside a blind, when you aren't allowed to use a flash, is no small feat.
You just can't imagine how HUGE these birds are. That's a 3 meter wingspan. Yes. 9 feet! It's like you took a normal-looking gull, and enlarged on a Xerox machine or something.
