Young baboons playing wildly
Young Guinea baboons (Papio papio) play frequently in the wild. Here three of them are caught in the act; the one in the middle has fallen on the back after being chased by the baboon on the right.
This picture was taken in the wild in Niokolo-Koba National Park, Senegal, where researchers from the Centre de Recherche de Primatologie Simenti have been studying several groups of Guinea baboons since 2007.
