Proving the value of my latest Cash Crusaders budget find. The Len’s was used but like brand new for R2999. Used it on Portraits and Macro. Excellent value for money. Once you know how to spot a good deal, and find the diminishing return sweet spot, ‘cheaper’ gear can go a long way. Nikon Z equivalents around R15k. 5x Price I don’t think will give 5x the image quality.

 

Would have helped to have had a bit more focal length so to not need to crop in as much. I was chasing a pollen drenched bee 🐝 around the garden when I spotted this fella. He looked like a bee but with strange eyes. Later learned his true identity.
