The trip of my dreams

They say dreams have no traffic lights,

and that afternoon, everything turned pink.

She appeared in lace and ribbons,

like she’d stepped out of an enchanted shop window.

The car—shiny and Barbie-pink—was waiting,

as if the universe had lent her the keys to a forgotten fantasy.

She didn’t know where she was going.

It didn’t matter.

She just wanted to escape the grey.

With a wink, she started the engine—

and in a blink, she was part of the sky.

Since then, whenever someone dreams in pink,

they say she’s out there,

driving without a map,

smiling like someone who’s already been

where we all wish we could go.
