Sharing special moments

Had the pleasure of watching this pair of Gannets at close range for a short time a few days ago .. The female sat on her nest waiting patiently for the male to bring more materials in. The male placed the grass at the females feet then a ritual began that has always intrigued me . Lots of attentive care, grooming and neck rubs .. warms the soul 😍
