transformed shoe
This is my second outcome fore the playing card transformation. Here I conveyed a different side of transformation. This approach is pro sculptural/product design with some fashion design.
This is a life site model of one of my favourite basics, Air Force 1, built from playing cards. here I focused on a physical transformation. I'm having the playing cards transformed to a different use, different aesthetic, purpose, but with the same material.
The transformation from one product two another shows the detailing of each individual part of both products ( the previous product, snd the one your transforming it into). The nike tick is a specific detailing for example, the specific back pattern of the card is now the tick, transforming not only the card but the purpose of parts on the card.The transformation opens ideas to use the different colours, textures and patterns. Its is clearly seen on the shoe at the lace wholes, nike tick and sole.
additional detail for my completed transformation included laces and a Nike Air Force 1 box. this area of detail isn't transformed, but for fills the completion of the transformation.
I had previous research in transformation reflecting of artists and ideas and developing outcomes to show my reflection of the transformation of the playing card.
