FullMoon meets the "4 - 4000"

C'est hier, le 19/11/2021, depuis le Col Agnel (l'un des plus hauts cols d'Europe) qu'a eu lieu cet alignement.
Un alignement avec la Pleine Lune qui n'arrive que 2 à 3 fois par an.
C'est avec l'Ailefroide (3954m), la Barre des Ecrins (4101m), le glacier du Pelvoux (3943m) et le pic sans nom (3913m) que la Lune est venue à leur rencontre.
En effet, la Lune ne se lève et ne se couche jamais au même endroit, jour après jour, ni aux mêmes heures. Du coup, ce genre de rapprochement arrive rarement et il faut bien s'y préparer.
Pour réussir la photo, il a fallu :
- se lever à 2h45,
- porter les 17kg de matériel sur le dos et ce sur 8km en ski de randonnée avec les 700m de D+,
- affronter le froid et espérer qu'il fasse beau !

It was yesterday, 11/19/2021, from Col Agnel (one of the highest passes in Europe) that this alignment took place.
An alignment with the Full Moon which only happens 2-3 times a year.
It is with the Ailefroide (3954m), the Barre des Ecrins (4101m), the Pelvoux glacier (3943m) and the nameless peak (3913m) that the Moon came to meet them.
Indeed, the Moon never rises and sets in the same place, day after day, nor at the same times. As a result, this kind of rapprochement rarely happens and you have to be well prepared for it.
To succeed in the photo, it took:
- get up at 2:45 a.m.,
- carry the 17kg of equipment on your back and this over 8km on ski touring with the 700m of D +,
- face the cold and hope that the weather is good!
