Pleiades Star Cluster
The Pleiades Cluster is is one of the youngest objects we can see from earth (only 100 million years old). The bright stars central to the cluster give off an amazing, glowing hot blue color and have been labeled "the seven sisters" (although the cluster itself is made up of over 800 stars). These stars are extremely bright and luminous, and will burn out quickly (life span is only a few hundred million years, nothing compared to the billions of years our sun has). They are encapsulated by reflection nebulae, which give the Pleiades an awesome "wisp" look!
If you look for the constellation Taurus you'll be able to spot the Pleiades by looking for a spot where the stars are all packed on top of each other(almost looks like a smaller big dipper)!
Shot: 140x 30s @ f/4.9 total exposure time: 1hr 10 minutes
