Breaking the darkness
The laurel forest of the National Park Garajonay (La Gomera Island) is characterized by dense vegetation formed mainly by laurel trees that give the characteristic name to this type of forest.
It is a dense vegetation favored by the high humidity provided by the trade winds. Walking inside as if it is was in darkness until the sunlight find a gap in the canopy through it filters reaching the ground, creating a magical image of columns of rays that impress the retina and break the semi-darkness of the environment.
