Tenderness, Joy, and Bokeh
NB! This image is being resubmitted only because Flickr re-classified it as unsafe when I tried to use it as a group cover photo for the group 'Bokeh before, Bokeh behind'!!! That took it out of nearly all the groups it had been in. ????
It seems not all groups that accepted it before will let it back in...

Here she is again, this time not alone, but still the apple of the camera's eye.
At the time, I was disappointed with the "redundant" surroundings and put the print in a box of failures. I look at it differently today...
Bokeh is usually behind the subject, but here it is also in front, with even a direct boundary between the two zones. Bokeh behind in-focus surfaces has sharp edges; in front it has boundaries of graded transparency (see the intersection of the heads of the two adults). Helps work out what’s in front of what maybe...
