rp @ckyourprivilege: Change is possible on this journey, but it begins with unlearning, and self kindness in the process. At some point we realize we cannot begin healing from white supremacy racism until we do our own collective work. It is beyond double tapping images on social media, or listening and learning, theres a constant release that needs to happen. Releasing ideas, behaviors, relationships that we must sit with unpack and revisit. Naming the experiences, the people we've harmed, been complicit with. We've got to do this individually and collectively. We're unlearning hundreds of years of white supremacy racism, the healing and transformation can't be rushed. .. Healing from this isn't linear.
