Joseph P. “Joe” Carver, son of John A. and Laura Sanders (Chapman) Carver, was born 7 Aug 1872 in Illinois and died 27 Dec 1938 in Limestone, Illinois. On 4 Jul 1893, he married Cora May Hensley (1870-1952). They are buried in Sparland Cemetery, Sparland, Illinois. They had two children: Ursula Mae (1894-1947) and Arnold Judson “Arno” (1897-1964).

 

Cora May Hensley, daughter of William H. and Amanda (Frizzell) Hensley, was born 1 Mar 1870 in Licking, Ohio and died 13 Mar 1952. On 4 Jul 1893, she married Joseph P. “Joe” Carver (1872-1938). They are buried in Sparland Cemetery, Sparland, Illinois. They had two children: Ursula Mae (1894-1947) and Arnold Judson “Arno” (1897-1964).

 

Arnold Judson “Arno” Carver, son of Joseph P. “Joe” and Cora May (Hensley) Carver, was born 3 Aug 1897 in Lacon, Illinois and died in 1964. He married Nellie Leota Bell Waldo (1898-1980). They had 11 children: Evelyn Elizabeth (1919-1997), Dorothy Lavina (1921-2007), Arnold Laverne (1922-1957), Leonard Francis (1924-1927), Jack (1925-1925), Robert Wayne (1926-2001), Floyd Austen (1928-1928), Doris M. (1930-2017), David Paul (1932-1971), Wilma Ilene (1934-2007) and Willmette Kathy “Norma” (1936-2002).

 

Ursula Mae Carver, daughter of Joseph P. “Joe” and Cora May (Hensley) Carver, was born 23 May 1894 in Sparland, Illinois and died 27 Nov 1947 in North Utica, Illinois. On 20 Sep 1940, in Davenport, Iowa, she married William John O’Brien (1892-1950). They are buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Utica, Illinois. They had no children.
