The path to light
The Pietrosu Rodnei Biosphere Reserve is located near Borsa and Moisei with an area of 3300 ha and includes the northern part of the Rodna Mountains. The 3300 ha of the reserve occupies the alpine void and the coniferous forests or mixture of the Pietrosu Rodnei Massif in which the Pietrosu Mare peak with a height of 2303 meters is noted. The limits of the Pietrosu Rodnei area are formed in the North from the Culmea of the Boundary and the White Stone in the East and North-East of the Rhône Valley. In the South the delimitation is made by the Mount of Horpsum and the formation Jneapanu Elders-Râpi and in the West of Valea Izvoru Dragoș
