Don't trust the weather forecasters II
Lulworth Cove & Stair Hole, Dorset (6 x 3 Bracketed)
Having been to Lulworth Cove the weekend before I knew I wanted to return to shoot the Stair Hole overlook. The forecast for last Saturday on most of the weather apps I use had clear blue skies but a couple had some high level cloud in the area. I decided to take a chance so it was another 4am wake-up and coffee in the car on the way down. As I was walking up the muddy path in the early part of blue hour I could see a bit of high level could around so crossed my fingers and kept going. As you can see from the photo I (and the other 2 Togs present) were rewarded with some lovely colours. After getting my single shots I shot the above as a set 6 sets of 3 bracket images (18 total) to get the extra width I wanted and with lots of overlap. Would have been nice if the tide was higher (it was close to low tide here) but then again if it were by the time I went down into Stair Hole I'd not have been able to get the shots I did there (yes more to come!).
I did later reward myself for the early start with a crab & Lobster burger from the food stall near the beach😋😋.
