Fasan / Common pheasant (Phasianus colchicus)

Diesen Prachtburschen hatte ich gestern bei seinem Balzruf beobachten können.

Ich konnte mich erstaunlich nahe an ihn ran schleichen.

Yesterday, I was able to observe this splendid boy during his mating call.

I was able to sneak surprisingly close to him.
