Note: Milw 255 Extra 126A West an F9 by at 201am followed by 205 X2002 West against the current on EWD trk to Oakland. Good dispatching on Newport DS part. While 255 drags in at Dunn, 205 zips past to go in at OA. 23/3 was comng at tower right at Mid, thus transfered to next day sheet. Extra C&S 906 West. Lower right corner reveals a warm Xmas eve. 31* Rule of the day (a Milw ritual) was Merry Christmas. Usually a different rule number every day to ensure you read the bulletins when randomly challenged by an official. Top right shows any orders in effect at transfer time , so no orders were missed. 601&612 to C&E WWD Milw trains and 615 to Amtrak 9 &7 daily were shown. No.9 and No. 7 normally came on my shift. A late No. 10 (North Coast Hiawatha) also showed up.
