AIPMT A Brief Overview
AIPMT is the short form of the All India Pre-Medical Test/Pre-Dental Entrance Test. It no longer exists today, with NEET-UG taking its place. The AIPMT was an entrance exam that was taken annually in India. The exam was conducted by CBSE, or the Central Board of Secondary Education. The exam was to be taken if a candidate wanted an admission into an MBBS or BDS course in Indian medical colleges. Out of the available seats, 15% of them were run by state governments, local or municipal authorities and the Union of India in a majority of the states.
