DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The vessel body has an engraved scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel. The scroll consists of two encircling arms that meet at a central cross-hatched circle element (Figure A1.144). Where the two arms of the scroll pass by the central circle element, they are widened with a cross-hatched zone. Both scroll arms originate from the apex of large upper and lower engraved triangles.
