DECORATION (INCLUDING MOTIF AND ELEMENTS WHEN APPARENT): The rim panel has an engraved scroll motif repeated four times around the vessel. The scroll has two arms that encircle each other and meet at a large open circle (Figure A1.153). There are semi-circular arcs of engraved lines and slanting scrolls that run between each central circle element. Upper and lower scroll fill zones have excised and cross-hatched triangles with negative ovals.
