Railway Service Vehicle

by Ghezzo23

This is my MOC made for the LEGO Ideas Challenge "LEGO House: if it Runs on Rails"; below is the description I uploaded on the page:

"Hi everyone! I’m happy to show you my latest MOC, a Railway Service Vehicle!
The locomotive that I created is a two-axle, diesel-electric powered motor tower car and it is used for maintenance of the catenaries.
This MOC has two functions to make it playable: the pantograph can be raised and lowered through the elastic with the control placed under the right side, while the bridge tower can be raised and lowered through the gear placed under the frame and then rotated manually. The two functions and their mechanism are visible in the 9th photo.
The minifigures, taken from sets from the 90s, are a tribute to my first sets that fueled my passion for this theme; in some pictures they are shown at work to demonstrate the functioning of the locomotive.
The total dimensions of the diorama are 60 studs in width (the base is instead 50,4 studs), 30,4 studs in depth and 30 bricks in height.
I hope you enjoy my MOC as much as I enjoyed designing it! =D"
