Mask Dance Drama - Malduggi
La maschera del personaggio di Malduggi in Dongnae Yayu fu acquisita da Song Seokta (1904-1948) negli anni '30 durante la sua visita nella regione tradizionale del dramma di danza con maschera.
Il personaggio prende in giro e inganna i nobili nell'opera con un'espressione vivace sul viso.
Questa maschera è caratterizzata da linee audaci ma nette e colori vivaci ma tenui.
Le grandi macchie verdi e nere che ricoprono il viso, le sopracciglia alzate e il contorno argentato intorno agli occhi enfatizzano il contrasto di colore e dimostrano l'atteggiamento sicuro di Malduggi nei confronti dei nobili.
Contrariamente ai denti sul lato destro della bocca, che sono irregolari e affilati come se stessero sogghignando per ridicolizzare i nobili, i denti sul lato sinistro sono uniformi, come se li stessero esaminando.

The mask of the character of Malduggi in Dongnae Yayu was acquired by Song Seokta (1904-1948) in the 1930s during her visit to the traditional region of mask dance drama.
The character mocks and deceives the nobles in the play with a lively expression on her face.
This mask is characterized by bold yet sharp lines and bright yet muted colors.
The large green and black spots covering the face, the raised eyebrows, and the silver outline around the eyes emphasize the color contrast and demonstrate Malduggi's confident attitude toward the nobles.
In contrast to the teeth on the right side of the mouth, which are uneven and sharp as if sneering to ridicule the nobles, the teeth on the left side are even, as if examining them.
